Everette H. Babb has practiced law in Upstate South Carolina since 1971, developing a strong concentration in real property and founding the law firm now known as Babb & Bixler in 1975.

After graduating from North Carolina State University, Everette attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. He is admitted to practice in all the courts of the state of South Carolina, the United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. He also serves as a certified mediator.

Active in many professional and industry organizations throughout the years, Everette is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Greenville County Bar Association. He is an associate member of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors.

Everette often serves as a presenter and speaker at various legal seminars and events. He has been chosen to speak as a panelist at events conducted by the South Carolina State Bar and by Stewart Title. Additionally, he frequently presents seminars on real estate law to Upstate realtor offices as well as seminars on various topics to groups including the LifeWise senior program through Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, the Ray Hopkins Senior Center, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Furman, Senior Action, the Mauldin Chamber of Commerce and the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, Everette was named on Greenville Business Magazine’s list of Legal Elite and had the honor of receiving the most votes of any real estate attorney.

Feeling strongly about giving back to the community, Everette has served on the board of the Mauldin Cultural Center and is a former member of the Golden Strip Civitan Club, serving as past club President and area Lieutenant Governor. He is a member of the Mauldin United Methodist Church where he has served as Chairman of the Administrative Board, President of the Men’s Club, Member of the Board of Trustees and Sunday school teacher.

A. Lyon Bixler, III joined Babb & Bixler in May 2017, moving to Simpsonville from his hometown of Laurens, SC where he served as the Assistant Solicitor for the Eighth Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and 28thin his class of 229.

While at the Charleston School of Law, Lyon was named to the Dean’s List and earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award®, given to the highest scoring student in each law school class, in Commercial Law, SC Family Law and Land Use Planning. He was active in many campus organizations including the student divisions of the Charleston County Bar Association and American Bar Association, the Criminal Law Society and the Student Trial Lawyers Association. He worked as the publication’s editor for The Federal Courts Law Review and devoted more than 375 hours of pro bono service to the Charleston community.

As Assistant Solicitor, Lyon managed a wide variety of casework, from magistrate level misdemeanors to attempted murder. Prior to joining the solicitor’s office, Lyon served as the inaugural clerk for the Honorable Donald B. Hocker, working on a wide range of criminal and civil issues. His additional experience includes acting as a contract attorney for a hospitality group and assisting the Child Support and Abuse and Neglect divisions of the Charleston County Department of Social Services.

Lyon is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all the courts of the state of South Carolina. His practice areas include criminal law, litigation, traffic tickets, DUI law, homeowner’s association matters and real estate law. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church and the South Carolina State Guard, 1LT – Judge Advocate General.

Patrick O’Neill Dollar, Sr.

Originally from Rome, Georgia, Patrick relocated to South Carolina in 2013. After graduating from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, Patrick worked in both the government as an appeals hearing officer with the Georgia Department of Labor and as a private attorney representing local governments, health systems, businesses and individuals in a variety of transactional and litigation matters. After residing and working in Northeast Georgia for 4 years, he settled with his family in Greer in December of 2013. He is licensed to practice in Georgia, South Carolina, and the United States District Court. Having obtained a wide array of experience, Patrick’s areas of practice are quite broad. His primary focus is in litigation and transactions involving economic development, real estate, estate planning, probate and small business representation.

Patrick is a licensed title insurance agent in South Carolina and a member of the Greenville County Bar. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Eastside YMCA in Taylors, SC, and the School Advisory Committee for his children’s school. Additionally, he is a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and has volunteered as a soccer coach for the YMCA. Patrick graduated in May of 2017 from the Greer Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greer, Class of 37, and continues to be active in the Chamber.

Patrick is married to Katherine Haney Dollar, of Macon, Georgia. Kate is an Information Technology Clinical Pharmacist with PRISMA Health Systems in Greenville, South Carolina. They have two boys Neil and George.

A native of Darlington, South Carolina, Jane has called Greenville home since 1989. Real estate closings are second nature for Jane, who has been a paralegal/closer since 1992 and a valuable and beloved part of our team for nearly a decade. In fact, at one point she was handling 5-6 closings a day all by herself! Jane’s favorite part of her job is interacting with the various parties involved and watching all of the pieces fall into place when the happy buyers walk away from our office with the keys to their new home. In her spare time, Jane enjoys reading and spending time with her three children and her newest love, her grandson. She’s passionate about rescuing greyhounds…in fact, she currently has three of them residing with her!

McKenzie graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. She has worked for the Richland County Probate Court and the Greenville County Probate Court before becoming the Probate Paralegal for Babb, Bixler & Dollar. She is passionate about helping others and loves to be able to ensure a smooth process for our clients while they grieve the loss of their loved one. McKenzie has a 10-month-old daughter who she loves to spend all her free-time with doing various activities and going on many adventures!.

She began her career with the firm in 2021 after completing her Bachelor of Arts from Winthrop University with a Major in History and a Minor in German, and then her Paralegal Associate in Applied Science from Greenville Technical College in . Elliott loves meeting clients and connecting with them personally. She also loves the satisfaction of finding new pieces of information through research. In her spare time, Elliott enjoys crocheting, reading, and learning new languages.

Adrienne Williams

Born and raised in the Army, Adrienne spent a lot of her time moving all over the world, but eventually she set down roots in Greenville in the early 90s. Now, she works as a receptionist at one of Greenville’s prominent law firms. One of the best parts about her job is getting to interact with all the people who come in and helping them get connected with the attorneys and paralegals she assists. Outside of the office, Adrienne has many interests: reading, writing, knitting, sewing, and getting together with friends for some games. But her biggest joy can be found in the love of her family and the raising of her daughter.
